Islam promotes acts of charity as a means of purifying ourselves and our possessions, and to achieve a high standing in the sight of God. Islam also commands its followers to do deeds of righteousness for the betterment of society. Thirdly, Islam has opened the path for our good deeds and charity to benefit us past our time in this life.
The Maldivian Community Foundation aims to enable our donors to invest into their Hereafter, through the execution of their charitable and philanthropic aspirations in a sustainable manner.
We will achieve this by managing the funds that we receive and ensuring that they benefit the most vulnerable segments of society, ensuring that the funds are used responsibly, in a transparent manner and by being accountable to our donors.
